PLAYER REPORT
Jace Poirier is a 2027 C/CI/P with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Bishop Miege High School. Lettered Varsity in Football and Baseball as a Freshman. Broad shouldered build with some present strength to frame, additional room to develop moving forward. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate with slight turn, receives the ball out front, works into a strong Power V release on throws, shows plenty of accuracy and carry on throws down to second base, and can throw from knees or legs. Also plays the infield and moves well laterally, fields the ball out front with two hands in the infield, deliberate footwork, and shows some carry on throws across when on top. Shows good young bat speed and projection on offense. Good lower half athleticism to continue to develop. Good Student.
