PLAYER REPORT

Rafferty Jackson is a 2027 C, CI, OF with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Strong build. Ran a 6.97 in the sixty. Shows well in outfield and infield drills with advanced actions and arm. Some solid carry and on-line throws. Gets through it well and the arm talent shows. Great mover on the dirt with crisp lateral actions. Also popped a 2.13 in catcher drills with an accurate drive. Good accuracy and transfer. Good looking receiver behind the plate, looks very comfortable defensively, blocks well, gets rid of the ball quickly. Hits from balanced stance with high back elbow in set, above-average bat speed with good strength to hands, has power and projects for more, legitimate power upside long term. As an outfielder, with speed, works through the ball well, with some whip to arm stroke, arm speed/body allow for arm strength projection, legitimate athleticism/power ceiling here. Named to USA Baseball NTIS in 2024. Very good student.
